WJO Deer Hunts

      We offer several different hunts for deer ranging from mulies, to whitetails, and coues deer. There are three different rifle mule deer hunts that we offer. We have a private ranch in New Mexico that we offer two trophy mule deer hunts every year. We expect to harvest 180 plus bucks off this property. The hunt cost $6,500.00. We have the tags in hand and they generally are sold a year in advance. Call now to book your spot.
The five day hunt takes place the first week of November.

 

      We have a New Mexico draw mule deer hunt where we are looking for bucks that are over 180. You will see multiple bucks on this hunt. Finding the ONE we want runs about 50%. This is a migration rut hunt, so you will see lots of Bucks. This hunt is done from 4 wheel drive, and is spot and stalk. This is a great hunt for someone who does not get around very good. The draw success is about 40%. We can apply up to four people on an application. The hunt cost $5,275.00 1x1 or $4,525.00 2x1. The five day hunt takes place the second week of November.

 

We have another draw hunt in New Mexico with a 100% draw. This hunt produces good respectable bucks with an occasional great one. This hunt is more physical as it requires some leg work. We can also do this hunt horseback. We can apply up to four people on an application. The hunt cost $5,275.00 1x1 or $4,525.00 2x1. The five day hunt takes place the first week of November.

 

     We have two archery mule deer hunts. One hunt with over the counter tags in Arizona, where we will see good respectable bucks with a chance to harvest a Giant. This hunt is to be considered a trophy hunt where harvest success is not high but you could harvest the buck of a lifetime. There have been bucks up to 235 B&C taken on this hunt. The hunt cost $5,275.00 1x1 or $4,525.00 2x1. The five day hunt takes place the first two weeks of January, dates and length can be modified as to your needs. This is a great time of the year to get away to the desert of Arizona for a break from winter.

 

     We also have a fantastic archery hunt in New Mexico for trophy deer. This hunt is on a draw basis in one of the best units in the state. In 2007 the Governors tag holder shot his buck in this area. Success rate for the draw is about 40%. Up to four people can apply on an application. We can also bring in hounds to have on hand in case we find a fresh lion track. The five day hunt cost $5,275.00 1x1 or $4,525.00 2x1 There would be an additional kill fee for a lion. The hunt takes place in January.

 

COUES DEER HUNTS

 

     We offer coues deer hunts in Arizona and Old Mexico. With Mick as the head coues guide, we have rifle hunts in October and December in Arizona. You can expect bucks 95 B&C and up. Our success rate runs about 95 %. These are seven day hunts and cost $5,275.00 1x1 or $4,525.00 2x1. We also offer archery hunts in the same areas in January. The dates and length would be customized to fit your needs. Prices would vary. Occasional lions are seen and could be harvested during these hunts.

 

     We have a 12,000 acre ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico that has great coues deer. We offer different hunt packages that range from fully guided, to do it yourself. These hunts range from $5,750.00 to $1,850.00 for five day hunts. The number of days and dates of the hunt can be modified to fit your needs. You may hunt with either gun or bow. Guns are provided at the ranch for the ease of travel without the added hassle of gun permits. The hunts take place from mid-December through January.

 

WHITETAIL DEER

 

    New for 2008, we have a tremendous hunt in eastern Iowa for trophy deer. This six hundred acre property has been micro managed for deer. There are only four hunters a year on the farm. The owner reserves two spots, and we get the other two. In 2007 they killed one buck that scored 192 B&C. A limit of 160 B&C on the property is no problem with plenty of bucks over that mark.This is your chance to harvest a whitetail buck of a lifetime. This five day hunt cost $5,500.00 and takes place in December.

 

    We currently are working on a new whitetail lease in Wyoming. The 10,000 acres of farm ground will be available for 2009. This will allow 10 archery hunts in September for velvet bucks and two gun hunts in November during the rut. There will be a 130 B&C minimum. Several bucks over that have been harvested every year. We will be managing the property from now on to produce only high quality trophy deer. Hunt cost will be around $2,950.00 for five days. We need doe hunters for this property.
